Favorites Bookstore will accept used books in exchange for store credit only. We are unable to offer cash or any other form of monetary payment. It may take up to two weeks to process your items, dependent on current volume. If you don’t want to wait for processing, we can offer 10 cents per pound.
Items we DO NOT accept:
- Reference materials such as dictionaries, encyclopedias
- Textbooks or test prep handbooks
- Bibles or hymnals
- Books missing covers or pages or otherwise in poor condition
- Household items or clothing
- Magazines (with a few exceptions)
- CDs, DVDs, VHS, cassettes
- Readers’ Digest anthologies or other condensed books
- I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ANY HARLEQUIN, LOVE INSPIRED, OR AMISH ROMANCE AT THIS TIME!
Pricing:
- The fastest: .10 per lb
- Mass market paperbacks, and pocket books: .25-.50 depending on the book
- Trade paperbacks: $1-2 depending on the book
- Hardback: $1-3 depending on the book
- Coffee table or photography books: $1-3 depending on the book
- Cookbooks (limited): $1-3 depending on the book
- Graphic Novels and Comic Books: – $1-2, case by case
- Any other books that may be deemed rare or valuable are priced on an individual basis
